Introducing the Next Generation of DNA-Free Decontamination Technology
Koriyama, Fukushima, Japan —
We are pleased to announce its participation in the 21st Medical Device Design & Manufacturing Exhibition — “Medical Creation Fukushima 2025”, which will be held at Big Palette Fukushima in Koriyama City, Fukushima Prefecture, Japan.
At this year’s exhibition, Sealive will showcase its next-generation DNA-free decontamination system, “steriXmini.”
This compact system combines Decontamination Gas Generation (DGG) and Decontamination Gas Decomposition (DGD) technologies to deliver a highly efficient and safe alternative to formaldehyde fumigation.
Exhibit Highlights
-
Advanced DNA-Free Decontamination:
The DGG function eliminates pathogens and residual airborne DNA via a HEPA filtration process, achieving a DNA-free environment ideal for controlled laboratories.
-
Powerful Oxidative Deodorization:
The DGD function decomposes harmful gases such as formaldehyde and hydrogen sulfide through oxidation, enabling efficient odor removal and air purification.
-
Precision Equipment Compatible:
The system enables decontamination without the need to cover or isolate electronic or precision devices, and can also be applied to glove boxes and biological safety cabinets.
“steriXmini represents a major step forward in hygienic control and contamination prevention,” said a spokesperson for Sealive Inc.
“By combining decontamination, DNA elimination, and oxidative deodorization in one compact unit, we are helping laboratories and manufacturers achieve a safer and cleaner environment.”
Visitors to the exhibition will be able to view a demonstration unit and learn more about the underlying technology and applications.
